Tankurinn / Flateyri / 2026A dandelion is often overlooked
a weed, a fleeting thing,
something made to be blown away.
Yet within it exists a delicate architecture:
a perfect sphere of tiny parachutes,
each carrying the possibility of new life.
For this work, I wanted to isolate this quiet wonder
and give it a space to be seen.
Two identical circles face in opposite directions.
In one, the seeds move outward.
In the other, they turn inward.
The form remains the same.
Only our way of seeing changes.
